The advanced rampart skate tracks available in the new Excellent version have become even quieter. This has been achieved by the use of additional and innovative noise insulation measures and confirmed by the TFÜ (Technical Vehicle Monitoring) by means of comparative noise level measurements. On average a reduction of almost 3dB(A) has been achieved. This can be equated to halving the existing sources of noise. This means that two insulated rampart Excellent quarterpipes do not produce more noise than one rampart quarterpipe that is not insulated. When the values for an insulated rampart Excellent quarterpipe are compared with those of a quarterpipe made of wood, differences of up to 5.4dB(A) are found. This means that one wooden quarterpipe would produce almost as much noise as four insulated rampart Excellent quarterpipes. eibe do not accept responsibility for the resultant noise being produced by the equipment at any specific location as noise can be changed and distorted by many variants out of eibe’s control.
